Llangrove is situated in beautiful upland countryside between Ross-on-Wye and Monmouth. Many homes enjoy wonderful views across the rolling Herefordshire countryside and all around are opportunities for walking on the numerous local footpaths, in addition to the Wye Valley Walk and nearby Forest of Dean with its outdoor activities.
Llangrove is a village with an active community. The Village Hall is well-used by a variety of groups of all ages and used to host the village market and cafe, while the redundant red telephone box has taken on a new life as the village book and magazine exchange. Christ Church, is in use every Sunday and is open for visitors during daylight hours. At the top of the village you can find The Royal Arms, a thriving country pub serving food and a focus for various groups while Great Trewen Milk Shed keeps the village supplied with fresh milk from the local cows.
At the heart of the community and the centre of the village, Llangrove CE Academy is a high-performing school where children are able to learn and develop in a healthy country environment. Many of the children have progressed from the successful Leapfrogs childcare which provides Ofsted registered wrap-around care from breakfast provision to after-school clubs.
