The Royal Arms is a traditional, family-run country pub offering home cooked food, good wines and real ales.
Located off the beaten track at the top end of the village of Llangrove, The Royal Arms is equidistant between the towns of Ross-on-Wye and Monmouth which are approximately 6 miles away.
The Royal Arms is a small and attractive 17th century building which at one time was the local smithy. It has a warm and charming atmosphere with comfortable and traditional furnishings and a real log fire for chillier evenings. As well as the lounge bar, there is a games room with a pool table and dart board. Outside is an attractive seating area where you can relax in the sunshine and watch the world, and indeed frequent tractors, go by.

EVENTS
There is always lots going on at The Royal Arms and we are always keen to see new faces joining in the fun.
Specially themed food nights and cocktal evenings go down well every time. We also do Bank Holiday Breakfasts on each bank holiday throughout the year (including New Year's Day!) offering a full English breakfast and tea and coffee refills.
Our regular pool team plays on a Wednesday night and darts on a Friday night. We are always looking for people to join the teams so please get in touch if you fancy playing or even setting up your own team at the pub.

The fortnightly Quiz Night is a guaranteed good fun night were our regular teams battle it out for first place but are often taken by surprise by the arrival of a new team. Entry is £1 per person and there is no limit on team sizes. Money raised on the night is donated to local and national charities.
The pub also has its own Book Club who meet once a month on a Tuesday evening. The groups choose a book to read each month and then meet up to discuss their thoughts on it, once read, over drinks and nibbles. New members of the group are very welcome.
