“OUR HERITAGE OF SONG”

After hall expenses monies raised will go to Red Cross or Gloucestershire Traditions as the speaker requests no fee but supports these causes.
Using pictures and songs to illustrate the story Robin looks at the songs of the people. He explores some of the colourful characters involved through the years and covers how songs have prompted the revival of traditions such as The Stroud Wassail.
Robin is Chairman of The Stroud Wassail and lead singer of “The Swing Rioters” a Gloucestershire folk band.
